The Executive Master of Public Administration (EMPA) course is an initiative of the Australian New Zealand School of Government (ANZSOG).
The EMPA is a prestigious degree which is nationally recognition throughout Australia and New Zealand. Successful applicants selected to complete this course have an opportunity to study the program which is partially offered in other states and New Zealand. This will provide students with a unique experience for networking and learning with their interstate and New Zealand counterparts, and promotional opportunities within the Public Sector.
The John Curtin Institute of Public Policy at Curtin University of Technology and Faculty of Law at The University of Western Australia are joint members of the ANZSOG Consortium. The opportunity to offer the EMPA has the full support of the Western Australian State Government which has committed to fully sponsoring this program following the collaboration agreement between Curtin University of Technology and The University of Western Australia.
In WA, the EMPA enrols a cohort of ten students every two years, who will be selected and fully sponsored by the Western Australian State Government. Only students selected through this process can enrol in the EMPA and core units. The inaugural intake of 10 students into the EMPA occurred in 2006.
Prospective students are advised to consult the ANZSOG's homepage for further details or the MPA key contacts.
